For a family event we had the perfect excuse to play dress up and have some fun with the little bear. I chose to go with the classic essentials and basic colors to anchor the look: a white button-up shirt and black corduroy pants. I gave it a hint of holiday color and texture by adding an argyle sweater vest. Then polished it up with a casual patterned blazer. The point is for the little bear to look sharp but not over the top.

Last but not least I couldn't let him go out the door without the basic accessory: the newsboy cap. I actually did some reading and found some interesting facts about these hats. Back in the days newsboy caps were the headgear for newsboys who were mostly from the desperately poor class because these caps were easy and cheap to make :) Not until some time later that the well off class suddenly was wearing the same cap as the poor.
